When the Claws Come Out: MISTAKES

Mistakes are a part of being human. Appreciate your mistakes for what they are: precious life lessons that can only be learned the hard way. Unless it’s a fatal mistake, which, at least, others can learn from.
Al Franken, “Oh, the Things I Know”, 2002

There can be only one thing that the watching of two very different movies have taught or showed me this week: humans were definitely not made to change very easily when it comes to their ways of destruction. They’re also very good at ignoring things, unless a person points it out to them. One was about the emminent destruction of the Earth by our hands, the other was a tale of the past about a certain man. It made me wonder; when will man or the Governments he governs finds a way to stop us from destroying the place we can survive in, before the Earth retaliates in her own way just to fix her problem? How can man prevent himself from becoming an absolute animal along the way? Hmmm…

  1. love the quote. 🙂

  2. I wanted to pick something from Ambrose Pierce, but nothing turned up. So, I thought that this will do.
