Small Matters Magnified: JUDGEMENTS

I read this a few minutes ago and found these bits of the text amusing to a fault:

He makes his own breakfast, calls his wife twice a day and dodges accusations of dagginess from his embarrassed children.

But this ordinary dad has a rather important job: prime minister of Australia.

As he prepares for the biggest battle of his political career, Prime Minister John Howard has given a rare insight into his private life — and has advised reporter Ben Fordham to “never act cooler than you are”.

Being called a dag doesn’t surprise me since all people at that age are prone to it, including parents. Maybe we should call him “The Prime Dagster”, ha ha! But society and the media make other harsh judgements upon mere mortals like us, such as the people and crowd we interact with, the clothes we wear and how we speak and plus what matters most in this era of great vanity: appearance. But, it is how we take the advice and mold it to our suitability in the end, that will silence everyone for the time being.
